Worn Gundidj focuses on positive change by creating sustainable long-term solutions for participants.

We achieve this by supporting participants to transition directly into real jobs, undertake vocational training or further education and providing volunteering opportunities and support.

Mentoring
Not sure where to start? Try a conversation. Our staff are available to help you identify where you want to go and what you need to get there.

Volunteering
We have volunteering opportunities within our Social Enterprises to help participants develop confidence, skills and experience.

Skills and training
Get skills and job-focused training, education and support.

Financial assistance
We can help with the cost of work-related licences, personal protective equipment, training and tools.

– Community services

Worn Gundidj offers a full range of community support services, primarily supported by the Federal Government.

We also provide Positive Peer Pressure Programs aimed at building connectedness and broadening social networks.

Our programs have are designed to promote connection amongst Indigenous community members. provide local traditional knowledge and increase social and emotional wellbeing amongst the Indigenous Warrnambool community. 

Yorakin Women’s Group 
Our weekly Women’s Group provides local Indigenous women with a comfortable, child friendly space to connect. Learn about traditional Gunditjmara culture and art in a range of locations. 

Our Voice
The Worn Gundidj Our Voice music program, in collaboration with Wanga Music Studio, runs (how often?) at the Worn Gundidj office. Learn to write, make and record your own music.

Our passionate and qualified staff can also help with internal and external referrals. Contact us for assistance in finding appropriate spaces and programs that can best support you in achieving your goals.
